Are you intending to grow them to maturity in pots, or to plant into open ground? Either way I would think of moving them now to their final destination. Mine get started in cell trays and then planted onto the lottie. Been there for some time now, and looking OK.

Hi bwfc07, we are also in Bolton
Suggest you warm your bed up for about 1/2 week before planting your garlic into its permanent bed.
Lots of luck with your first growing season.

hi - i planted 16 garlic cloves in September in the open ground as I understood they needed the hard frost to form. Hope I've done it right?! They look like they are coming along fine, well from the ground up that is!?
