Fruit trees

Hi

I'm thinking about getting a couple of fruit trees from Aldi today. The final destination for them won't be ready until possible next weekend. I have a couple of large pots will they be alright to put in there with some compost until I'm ready to plant them in there final positon.

JM I did this last year, and just stuck em in compost and kept them well watered. They took perfectly well when they went in, 10 days later.
