Nasturtiums - why?

i have a killer bunny he's good at getting rid of cats

thing is when i grow marigolds the slugs blimin eat em before the aphids get a chance grrr

yep, mr sluggy had a field day with my marigolds, but only every 4th one or so in a row. good job i had plenty of spare to replace. someone said to me it's either the male or the female plant that the slugs go for. didn't know they had different genders and couldn't for the life of me identify the differences between the two ........... apart from slug bites!

has anyone ever heard of that before ?

kept marigolds in the greenhouses and the toms were fine. Had loads of calendula outside and not many nasties to contend with. Hopefully they will have all self seeded this year cos I'm going to be late starting them off.

Intersperse the planting of marigolds with beer traps for the slugs so your marigolds are protected as well.

I planted my nasturtiums a week aago in the |Tunnel in ports and they are aon they way up
