Mmm, I bought some lavender seeds off the net but two weeks now and no sign of germination. There weren't any instructions on the packet so I'm not sure how long they should take. Probably me just being impatient, or should they be doing something by now?

Would leave them a bit longer - I grew my lavender from seed, but it was about six years ago now, so can't remember how long they took to germinate. Probably about three weeks I think. -
Last year we grew Lavender 'Munstead' from seed - just sprung up. This year we tried a pkt of American seed (in and out of the prop) no go. It says on the back of the pkt (which we chose to ignore!
) 'sow indoors 6-10 weeks before last Spring frost, need to be chilled 4-6 weeks at 35-40 F in order to germinate'....
