    not how to water newbies...

right then, is it ok to water my plants with the rainwater that collected in my uncovered old kitchen bin over the winter? it has a few bits of rubbish debris, but quite a bit of "organic" plant and animal life and is obviously a bit murky and green slime round the edges-like..but i can see the bottom of it though and it's pretty massive. so it would be a shame to waste it if i didn't have to....(i'm thinking more established plants rather than any seedlings...)

and, watering seedlings, how? i without washing the poor things away...and how much is enough? (i'm using some propogator trays with the inserts for most of them)

any advice would be helpful, thanks

I would def use it on established plants.
For seedling you need a watering can with a fine rose or water them from the bottom and stand them in it til they are wet enough.
