Cucumber leaves

What should cucumber leaves feel like? Mine feel very dry and paper-like... not like my other seedlings which are softer. Is this right or have I done something to them? They look healthy enough.

They do have an odd feel to them. If they are nice and green and not curled up then they are fine.

Expect them to get rougher even prickly as the plant grows bigger and more mature leaves.
