What's bottlebrush? I'm intrigued... I looked at your link but could only see cats and aquariums.pjh75

I inherited a bottle brush from the previous owner of my house.
It was outside in a pot looking very
Having done a bit of research to find out what it was (dunno the variety), I came to the conclusion that there was no way a bottle brush would survive here as I'm in a really windy cold spot up in the dales.
So I left it to live or die with no intervention. It's still here after three years and flowers well in the same crappy pot with no help at all from me
I'm tempted to plant it in the garden but have a sneeking suspicion that it will resent being meddled with and promptly die.
It's fairly pot bownd so maybe tat stops it from getting waterlogged over winter ?

My bottle brush is a year old now and is still in a pot (changed pot size as it got bigger). It is out doors on the patio, but will be going in the ground within the next 2 weeks. I would put it out and see what happens, may thicken up with more root space

Hi I looked at your album but no bottlebrush - I have had mine out in the garden for about 5 years now - never cut it and it bursting in to bud as we speak - maybe the bathroom is a bit hot and steamy for it try a little cooler conditions for a while and then when it warms up a bit outside move it to a nice spot in the garden.THE MORE MUSHY YOU ARE THE MORE THEY LOVE YOU
