  • Hello from another newbie

    Hello all,

Just thought I'd post my inaugural message - like a few others, I've picked up the mag, had a nose around the website and found myself registering .... looks like I'm hooked!

I have a seven-week-old half plot (aww!) and I'm finding I'm getting lost in it everytime I go up there - mind you there are worst things to get addicted to, eh?!

Hope to pick up loads of tips - I have a feeling this is the place!

Hi Sooz! As Shortie says this forum really is addictive. I've asked what I've thought (and maybe others have but they haven't let on) the most stupid questions but the replies have always been top dog.

So my advice is, don't be afraid to ask - we're all in it together

                    Welcome Sally and Sooz

We did alot of "chat" during the winter period, which I found very helpful and really spurred me on to grow much more than I ever have before. I was so well organised with all my ordering and even had a planting list all ready when I started in April. I am also keeping a diary (short notes) this year, so when I have time in the winter months I might be able to ask the questions I didn't have time for in the summer. Shortie is right - it is addictive, but great

Hope you both enjoy the forum!

Sorry to hear you have rain today Sally - though it does save time on the watering.
