They'll be fine, I've still got a load to go in yet too! They'll soon catch up as the weather improves.

Eeek! I knew there was something I'd not done. Only got a few in containers atm, plenty of time for the rest to go in, we're still having frosts after all.

Hi Dinks! Sorry to hear that you havent been too well. Hope that you and yours are all OK now. I only put my tatties in yesterday - what with the awful weather we've been having here in Preston. Good luck with yours. Best wishes. Bernie aka DDL

cheers bernie and al for your response
i was a little worried cos the seeds have got long legs now around 4inchs or so.
now that we only have 1 more home game left we can spend a little more time on the plot.

I had been lucky and got the 1st earlies and 1 small row (about 4') of 2nd earlies planted before the locks to our site got broken. I have the rest of my seconds chitting ever since (they were ready to plant 5 weeks ago!) and should be getting the new key tomorrow so will be sowing them either then or Friday morning.

They'll be later, but should still be ok.

As long as you're careful with the shoots you should be okay. Hope people are well now. Welcome back by the way - I remember the old avatar!
