    Hi, does any one know if you can transplant , Salsify, and Scorzonera , i tried to grow these last year but they did not take i thought i might plant in cold greenhouse first then transplant to the beds,

    They are root crops, so no, you can't transplant them. As a rule. Perhaps you can sow them into loo rolls like with parsnips and carrots.

    I sow my scorzonera straight on the lottie, they come up no problem. Sow when it's warmed up a bit, this spring has been really cold.

      Thanks two sheds will try loo roll planting and also try later on into ground.
