  • What be this? numero 1

    I just noticed these weird salmony orangy things on and around my sweetcorn. They are in paper pots.

    Is it fungus or some eggs? Is it something I should be concerned about. These were in the greenhouse til I saw them and moved em outside.

    Bit weird huh, hard to see from this photo I'm afraid.

        oh my god! i was JUST about to post the EXACT same thing!!! lol

        hoping it's nothing to worry about! i also took mine out of the greenhouse yesterday when i noticed. they seem to prefer it outside now anyway! looking all perky today! lol
        1 pony, 1 dog, 2 geese, 20-odd wild ducks, a friendly pheasant, chooks, 3 veg plots (in the garden), a polytunnel, 2 kids, and the OH

        Am i mad?

          Home made newspaper pots and toilet roll inner tubes are particularly susceptible to fungus (or fungi). Nothing to worry about really, improve ventilation and pick out any you can.
