Hello, can anybody out there help me? I was given a well established canary island date palm to look after and grow on. I t is ( or shall i say was) very healthy and about 4 years old. Instead of potting it on from its too small pot i planted it out in what i thought was a sheltered spot. Then the weather turned and after severe gales and rain and cold the once beautiful palm is now reduced to brown drooping leaves. I t really looks dead and i was all for throwing it away but have spotted a slight green shoot amidst the debris! How can i rejuvinate it? What should i feed it? I have lifted it and put it in a large pot
and situated it against a sheltered wall.
Thankyou for your kind help
