What fruit and veg can I grow in pots?

I'm short on space at home but I'm not going to let that defeat me! What can I grow in pots/tubs that can be eaten? I've got toms and strawberries this way this year but looking ahead, what can I try next year?

hI KateG,I am new to this as well,but i seem to be having great success growing lettuce in pots,its not too late to do that this year.I have also got cucumber,corgette,tomatoes,cabbage and peppers all grown in pots,albeit big ones in some cases(pots that is!) Try it ,the lettuce leaves are picked from different pots,one or two leaves at a time,i dont kill the lettuce,it keeps producing!Have a bit of an experiment and read the comments from the more experienced gardeners on here,they really come up with some good ideas.All the best!
