Hi im new to this game and put one apple tree in last spring and people said I need another to polonate so this year I buy another but my frst didnt flower at all and the new one didnt do much either. my first had powdery white leaves in places this spring too, so not much luck, anyone with bright ideas to help?

They are probably just settling in Sally & making roots.
Hopefully they will flower next year but you shouldn't let them crop too heavily (it would be like getting a baby to run a marathon!). The white powder on your leaves sounds like powderry mildew & is a fungus. It seems to thrive in dry conditions like we've had. but shouldn't do any lasting damage unless it gets to the state where it defoliates the tree.
You could spray the tree with a fungicide for mildew if your not organic. I'm not sure what will be the best cure if you are organic & don't whant to use chemical sprays. Nettle tea or something like that maybe?
