  • Burpless Tasty Green

I've been growing this outside and all looks well, lots of flowers and small cucs. But when do I know they are ripe for picking, it suggests that you "pick the fruit before full sized" what is full sized, I've got one that's about 8 inch now but still prickly - should I pick it?

I have just read that the fruits are not giants and to cut them at about 9 inches long.

I grow this one and normally cut them about 8/9". Mine are just at the six leaf stage and they're inside!

Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn't know that so it goes on flying anyway.

I grow them and cut them from 6 inches up to 9 inches long depending upon how big they are when I want one.

Dont worrit about the prickles, just rub them off.
