  • Eeek, we're being attacked!

Thought it was too good to be true! My whole plot seems to be covered in something which I haven't got a clue what it is, although they seem to be over other plants in the garden.

What can I do? Can I spray with anything for pests?

Could it be because of the heat?

Although my raddish leaves don't appear eaten, they've gone a funny white/patchey colour??

    Any suggestions greatfully received!!

Ok, update, I think they're aphids

It was tie in with the hot weather and the description of what they can do.

Is all lost? what can I do?

If they are Aphids (photo would be good) then you can spray with soapy water, that may well shift the little gits. Or you can resort to the arsenal of chemical sprays avialable

well i'm pretty sure they are, although they are all over the rest of the garden and next door, today's been hugely hot.

I think we're about to have a down poor of rain, would this help? or is it a case of once they're here, they're hear to stay?

I have to say SS i've never seen a plague of aphids like you describe. The whit patchy colour could be powdery mildew. this likes hot dry conditions. so the rain may well help that problem. I'm at aloss as to what to suggest for the aphids though.
