Spuds will be happier outside and I reckon it is too late for them unless someone knows better.

Toms are a bit late too, but should be OK. Take the top out one month before your first frost so the plant diverts energy to finishing up the fruit it has formed, rather than making any more (ordinarily a Tom plant would have reached the roof before then, and you would already have had to take the tip out)

I would recommend getting some plants from your local garden centre - they may well be on special offer by now. My G.Centre has, at rather exorbitant prices, growbags with three Tom plants IN FRUIT for sale! That would get you a flying start, if you could get the contraption home in one piece, and have a nice fat wallet!

      Yes, as above.
Spuds need to outside, not in a greenhouse (unless it's frosty outside).

Tomatoes like heat, so greenhouse good. It's too late to grow yours from seed this year, but you should be able to pick up some plants still: car boots, markets, garden centres?
