  • Potato Food

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if it would halm my potato plants if i watered in some tomato food (it came in a box and so is more like little bits of gravel), it is supposed to make the tomatoes better and think that it might help my pots to grow a little better.

    Any help is very welcome

Doubt it would harm, but can't see why it would do any good........
Potatoes the 'vital' bit is underground, and fruit is what you don't want. Tomatoes the fruit is the whole point.

If it's a tomato feed it will be high in pottasium. Once the tatties have set flowers it IS generally recommended to feed with a tomato type feed.

What you don't want is leaf growth generated from a Nitro feed.

Pottasium is usually applied to aid flowering and fruiting but does have a hardening affect giving stronger plants which can, supposedly, increase yeild?
