  • problem with tomatoes.

My tomato plants have plenty of fruit on them but i'm getting very worried now as i've got leaves going brown and dry and now i've started to notice that some of my tomatoes have got a speckled effect on them.

Can anyone tell me what could be wrong with them please.

    Thanks

    Muriel

Could you post a picture Muriel? Might be easier for people to help. I am no expert, this is my first year, but a few of my early tomatoes suffered from blossom end rot which started as a speckled effect and then joined up. I'll try to find my original post about it because I put a photos on there. This might not be what you have got, but it's just an idea.

Where are your tomatoes growing Muriel? Are they in a greenhouse, outdoors, in a conservatory?
If they're in a greenhouse or conservatory, it could be that they're just getting too hot & the leaves are getting badly scorched? If this is the case, can you sort out some shade? 'Shade paint' is available at garden centres & is just a whitewash which you paint on the windows, or you can buy shade netting. Or you could try charity shops for old net curtains which you can drape over the roof/windows.
