  • Jalapeno plants

    Hi everyone
I am growing Jalapeno plants for the first time this year and have been quite happy as i have been getting some pretty tasty and hot peppers so far. The plant is in a container and i would like to bring it in for the winter to prevent it dying off. When should i bring it in? How do i go about cutting it back? How do i care for it over the winter in terms of watering and feeding? Where should i keep it indoors? Sorry lots of questions

Hello Adam and welcome to the Vine. You can find out all you want to know about chillies on the link below. I've tried overwintering chillies but it didn't work. It's easier just to grow from seed each year.
Jalapeno was the challenge on the Chileman this year. (See the link)
You might want to join in for whatever the challenge is next year. Hope to see you there.
You can have a look at my Hotwax below.
