Hi,
I bought a Norway Spruce in a pot last year from a nursery. It was small but I figured I could repot it for a couple years and reuse it. It was in a very small pot for its roots and by the time I got around to repotting it in the Winter I found that the main root was growing out the bottom. And, yeah, okay, I forgot to water it a few times and gave it regular seaweed feed, eventually causing lots of the needles to fall out on the bottom branches, and the ends started to shrivel. I did eventually repot it (with regular top soil) into a terracotta pot and got around to giving it eracacious feed last week. It's had some new growth up top, over the Spring and Summer, but the bottom branches are still brown but bendable and not entirely crispy. Can it be saved and "greened up" in time for Christmas if I moved it to a sunnier spot, gave it some proper compost, etc?
