Best cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes for growing outside?

Update on Pepper seeds, my Mums bought a packet of pepper seeds so she's going to give me some of those, there a Mr Fothergills one (can't remember the type) but there for patios it says and the peppers are all different colours they look quite pretty on the pack And they're free too lol

I bought lots of various seed when it was20p.a pack!i have shirley f1,moneymaker ,romanian(given by a romanian friend)and some hanging basket ones which i had grown very successfully this year.Also some f1 cucumber which grew brilliantly all summer.Nice to know we can all start again next year.Whatever you try i hope it all grows well for you.

just a quick question - for the cucumbers do I need to remove the male or female flowers with them not being F1? As it doesn't mention anything about it on the packet!
