  • Virginia Creeper

Hi there, my GC has some Virginia Creeper and I've wanted some for ages to cover my ugly new fence. Is this an ok time to plant? It will be east facing but fairly sheltered in SE London and it will get lots of light. The fence is about six feet high and 50 feet long and my neighbour on the other side is quite a fussy gent - I can imagine he won't want it over his side so I am quite prepared to keep it pruned but am wondering how fast it will grow. (Then again he might love it, its better than bare wood which is what we both have at the moment).

    Thanks

ooooh ER... Thanks. I like to 'lop' so it should be fine. And I'm sure our neighbour will love it. It'll be better than all the bindweed which we get from the neigbours the other side anyway.
