I am starting off with just 3 beds and have planned what space I will allow each veg and there is no more room for anymore veg. I have put myself on 2 allotment waiting lists but they are years long so no more seeds for me this year (unless I decide to build 6 beds before March arrives)
yup, i said that ......... just before i dug up my front lawn

I'm already starting on the back lawn. And wondering what would grow in the shade so I can do something with the front which is under pebbles at the moment.
Will look for another early variety then.
Been and bought my seeds, they didn't have any pyramid cabbage.
I got Chioggia Pink beetroot, it came free when I bought 2 packets of any seeds so I actually have 3 packets of the beetroot (it was that or corn salad)
pity about the Pyramid Cabbage it is very versatile i grow it all the year round very tasy jacob marley

I found the pyramid seeds at another gardenc entre so got those yesterday. I want to go and get digging but I need to wait for my dad and his carpentry skills to help me build the raised beds, don;t want to dig up the lawn beforehand in case I made any errors in planning the size of my garden.
