I am thinking of getting 5 kiograms of this granulated cow manure from bakkers as i dont have enough land (a border 8ftx2ft wide) to warrent any real muck being bought and no where to put it so i was wondering if you could dilute some of the pellets in water as well as digging them in as i will only be using the strip of land for vegies and not flowers or with this type of thing you would taste it in the veg (going to try cabbage, turnip, kohi with spinach in large seed trays and cat litter trays)

I infuse fresh manure and also chicken pellets with water so I see no reason why you can't do it with granulated cow manure. There must be a few sheep fields near you in Bury, why not get a supermarket carrier bag and collect some sheep pats, mixed with water they make fantastic plant food.I you'st to have a handle on the world .. but it BROKE!!

I've never tried this but I do use the pelletted chicken manure. Now I've got half a lottie I use the real cow manure there - it's next to a farmer's field and he helpfully pops it over the fence for us.
I'm sure it will be good. You don't need a waggon load of stuff for a small border, do you?Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
