    most of the ones on the website are small or minatures. According to the National Dahlia society a small dahlia should be between 4" & 6" across & a minatureon 2-4" across so blousy yes big , no when you condider the Giant Decs are bigger than 12 " accross!!!

      I just grow the dahlias from seed every year. They are very easy and reliable. I never lift the tubers. About 50% of them make it through the winter and I plug the gaps with the ones grown from seed. You can buy seed for specific colours and types but I just buy mixed bedding and take what I get. If it's just clour you're after it's the easiest way. It's mid September and they're still doing great.

        Hi Alice, who packs the seed in seperate colours as i would love to be able to select some rather than always taking pot luck.
