  • how long to wait for shoots?

I sowed some aubergine and 2 of one variety have popped up and the other 2 haven't. How long do I wait til I assume the other's aren't going to?
They are in the same heated tray.

    Thanks

I'd give it a week after the first shoots have appeared.

i'd give it 3 weeks, not cos i think they'll take that long, just cos it's funny watching you trying to be patient

Just been checking the sowing and appearing dates for my aubergines from last year - one type (writing has faded so I can't make out which - took 6 weeks to appear. The others were through in 3 -4 weeks.

Mine aren't through for this year yet but then again were only planted a few days ago but last year both January and February sowings were through in just under 2 weeks in a heated propogator on the window ledge of our utility room.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
