I have sown some leeks in standard sized seed trays and just wondered whether you just leave them in this after thinning until they are pencil sized and then plant out or do you transplant them to deeper pots once germinated and then plant out once large enough.
I'm just wondering whether leaving them in a seed tray (which seem to be quite shallow - 2 inches approx) would restrict their growth if left until (is it?) April/May time before planting.
