Chicken poo pellets

Is one able to simply cast a sprinking of pelleted chicken manure around willy nilly?

I'm thinking fruit trees, maybe a boost for brassicas, even the lawn - could I chuck it on the lawn, or does it burn foliage?

What do we think?

More or less yes. I've never used it on lawn. Any lawn I started with I have dug up! But I use it for most veg and fruit.

I've just bought a large tub from B&Q, which says you can use it on pretty much anything (trees, shrubs, veg, fruit, roses, grass), and you can even add water to make a liquid feed.

I've never had any problems with pellets scorching roots or leaves. When my tumbler compost tea and wormery tea are finished I'll make some chicken pellet tea.

I have a heavy clay soil and was given a tub of chicken pellets. I was thinking to mix it in with my soil around the garden where i have bushes & plants. Would it be ok ?

Yes that'll be fine. Unless your soil has capped over you don't really need to work it in as the rain will do that. It will help lighten your clay soil over time too.

I have used chicken pellets on my lawn and it worked fantasically. Just spread it on the lawn and let the rain do the rest.
