Space between greenhouse and wall, how shall I fill it?

Between our greenhouse and wall at the back and side of the garden there is a foot gap. In this foot gap at the moment are brambles (oh joy!). Now when I finally get these brambles out I want something there that will keep the weeds out but not invasive.

Thought about bamboo with a liner around the base, but it's not the easiest of areas to get to! My other thought is just pouring concrete around all of it and then rub my hands manically at the thought of all the brambles being defeated

I think it would be handy if we could get around the side of the greenhouse and the back to sort out any problems we may have there. Thanks

How about concrete it then grow something in storage boxes on wheels that you can pull out for access?

How about concrete and a water butt or compost bin? Or some really thick weed membrane & gravel piled on top instead of concrete. Then after a couple of years you could plant something in it?

I've got weed membrane and gravel. Sometimes it's useful to get around the back.

Thanks. Never thought of gravel. Just got to get those brambles hacked back now! Even if I manage a couple of feet a week that's a bonus!

I've got membrane down between ghouse and tunnel - and I store odd pots and things in that space.

I thought the gap between the greenhouse and fence or wall was supposed to be the horticultural equivalent of the understairs glory hole

I have gravel in miine and use it to store odds and ends. I have the walls painted white to reflect light back into the greenhouse.

whatever you decide to smother the brambles with , make sure you perform your villains "nyuk,nyuk, nyuk!!" laugh as you do it. - Makes the whole proccess that much more satisfying!
