Just seen Christine Walkden on The One Show with a great tip for sowing seeds. She explained that obviously lots of seeds that are dark, or brown in colour are difficult to see on the soil when sown, so it's tricky to see how thinly/thickly you've sown.
Tip: Roll the seeds in talcum powder first - and you'll have white seeds on dark soil. Much easier to see!
