this morning planted parsnip seeds in loo rolls, then went down to the allotment for a couple of hours.

started digging another bed, added my meagre offerings to the compost bin, raked over a bed i dug last week, and planted some onion sets i got from poundland.

came home, packed my raspberry, blackberry and kiwi into bags to be transported, went back to the allotment - husband in tow - and planted the bushes * truth be told i observed 'the correct way to dig a hole' * watered everything in and came home.

phew

all starts again tomorrow....

Wow, excellent work!

I'm going to be hard at it this weekend, sowing my peas, sweet peas, broccoli, toms, chillies and peppers, and making a strawberry bed for the plants that turned up in the post yesterday. Thankfully I have the week off, so I can recover during any wet spells!

well i started diging the first one and hubby started laughing...
took the spade off me and said 'i'll show you how to dig a hole' ??!?!?!?!?

now i didnt think it was so technical but apparently after all these years i was wrong......
