Carrot & Leek pics - have a look!

My seedlings have started to appear for my carrots and leeks (see pics below). How much longer should I leave the leeks (in black tray) before transferring to peat pots and then outdoors? Also, should I start thinning the carrot seedlings yet (in red container)? They are a stumpy round variety. Both were sown about 2-3 weeks ago and have been mostly indoors since then.
