  • Spinach

Something's attacking my spinach It was doing fine but when I checked today the leaves have large white marks on them and look thin and shrivelled in this area. We had a real battering from the elements this weekend, could it be that? Or is it more likely to be a virus (please say no!)

Sorry to hear that BB. I wonder if it's a leaf miner type thing. That's probably not lot of help but it's not one I've had to deal with. Shame cos spinach is one of those things that are great for the winter, especially curried.

Mmmmm Sag Aloo , Sag Bhaji , Eggs Florentine

Hope someone can solve it for you.

Bless you Earthbabe! I was beginning to think no-one cared about my spinach!! I still have no idea what it is, but I pulled off most of the affected leaves and the new ones coming through look OK so far. Keeping my fingers crossed they stay that way.
