There's a tutorial on here if you do a quick search (i'm being lazy or else I'd do it) which shows you how to make Origami ones that secure themselves.
Glue made from flour and water might work and would be biodegradable.
I bought a paper potter last year. I used strips of news paper, followed instructions, and they held together all thru' spring till I planted them out.
