      other things for the anti slug arsenal are the rings of 1 & 2ps the bit of copper on the coins acts as a barrier, bran is great i used it last year to keep the evil mollusc off me salads but it does tend to get washed away in the rain

      Manure for the tatties, i had one bed for potatoes last year which was well manured but i had a few left over and shoved them in another bed which had no manure the yields were much better off the manure bed.....
