I was so wanting to make some space in the GH. I have been hardening everything off in anticipation of planting up. But every time I find a space I go to my seed tin and think what can I sow. I think I have 'mostly' finished with the veg seeds but now I am sowing flowers! I can see my garden will be a picture later, but please dont let me order any more seeds! (I should not even look on ebay!!)

I like to bring out my biscuit tin, take out all the packets, look at them, put them back.

Sometimes, for a bit of excitement, I take out all the packets, write a list of all their names, look at them, put them back.

If I feel like going really crazy, I take out all the packets, enter all the names and sowing times into a spreadsheet, look at them, put them back.

This is my first attendance at Seed Hoarders Anonymous... I feel better already
Creepy. Almost like you've been looking in my windows. I might add one; In times of caffine induced lunacy, I close the curtains and arrange allllllllllll the packets in alphabetal order according to sowing time. Then I do it again in order of cropping.

*sigh* it's been about two weeks since my last confession.

              I bought an aubergine plant, £1.48 in B&Q - I don't even like aubergines.
But I did buy a cucumber plant too. They're both in 12" containers in my growhouse now.

Also got some mint seeds, free broccoli seeds GYO magazine, and there was the parsley and sweetcorn that I might have neglected to mention!

Aaaaah I feel better now! My conscience is eased!

Oi! As organiser of this group, you could at least have brought some biscuits to the meeting. And we're running out of chairs...

                  Chocolate hobnobs ok?

Have been thinking of buying some Purple Basil seeds to try alongside my Genovese Sweet Basil.

There really is no end to this, is there!? LOL

Yesterday I bought and sowed green basil to go with the purple basil I sowed last week, and bought some more Hestia dwarf runners, and cos it was a three for two in Wilkos bought spring onions as well. Though I do have various boxes for my seeds they do spend a lot of time on the dining room table, in loose piles of what has been sown, what needs to go up to the lottie, what needs sowing later etc, OH keeps finding me things to put them in, yesterday even suggested that I clear out some three and four year old packets so I could put this years in the little IKEA drawers they were in!!

                    • Remember the self-made-cardboard-veg-picture-covered-here's one I made earlier seed box? It's been gazumped by posh CD boxes, 2 for 3.91 at Ikea. I've only filled one, so I think I'll need to buy more seeds wont I?
