I'm just someone who's a bit scared of growing stuff to be honest.

Went to the poundshop they didn't ave any blood fish and bone bt they had tomato food and liquid veggie food. Also managed to get lawn edging for my raised beds which will hopefully stop the dog eating the shallots. Also got some slug pellets thats are child and pet friendly.

              Hi
I've been using blood, fish and bone and was moaning to another allotment holder about having to keep every patch of cultivated earth covered because of the foxes digging, he said it was possible the blood, fish and bone that was attracting them and I should use Growmore instead which should alleviate the problem.
              Anyone else heard of this?

I imagine he was right in the first respect, but perhaps a read of two-sheds' link might help.

There's no many different types you've just got to do some research and see what suits you, your soil and the veg that you want to grow.
