Strawberry plant

Hi

Im very new to gardening. Will be starting to grow my own fruit and veg in the next week

Just bought this strawberry plant, wondering when it would be ok to move it to a pot outside, could i do this now?

Hello SimoneG. I would Pop the plant outside during the day and bring it back inside at night for a couple of weeks to make sure it's hardened off - or ready to withstand low temperatures. If it isn't acclimatised to the cold, you could lose it and we are still getting some very cold nights at the moment! If you bought it from a garden centre and it was outside,it would probably be ok. If it was indoors, then I would bring it inside at night. Enjoy!

Yes they was outside at the garden center, just on a little table at the front so not sure if it was out all night or not, i was going to go down later to get another couple so i could always ask. But i will bring them in a night anyway just incase! Thanks
