    I picked up half a dozen "named" Aldi apple trees this February and planted them as a row of cordons. 5 out of the 6 gave me a few apples this autumn which was a bonus. If they do the same this coming February I will buy some more.

        Glad the trees did well for you PW. I've just bought various fruit trees from Aldi, including a Granny Smith and was wondering if anyone had grown this particular variety with success - the info I've found on google says it's not commonly grown in UK cos it needs hot summers??
