There is an open allotment behind mine which has had the rent payed but I am lead to believe the rentee is poorly. It's full of dandelions which my chooks love.
Guess where I gather the daily greens for my chooks?

maybe they have been reading Alan Titchmarshes kitchen gardener book - he has them in it!. the salt thing didnt work for us - I got told that and tried it at my bf old place - best thing is to dig down very deep
