          Cool.

What are you looking for.....as I usually start with Wilko for any cheap stuff.....is it plants or paraphernalia you are looking for?

Aah, then I'd try Wilko first, or you will kick yourself at buying at garden centre prices.

I found Netto and Aldi seem to have cheap seeds and soil at the moment but zazen999 is right Wilkos are cheap. I went today and got a grow bag for £1.39, A greenhouse thermomiter £0.99 and a spade and a fork £0.79 each!

If you can get them Netto do growbags for 99p. I use them as a general source of cheap compost. As my local Netto had run out I got a Lidl one today for £1.19. Netto also have a small selection of seeds for 19p.
                    Today's mistake is tomorrow's compost...

We have QD Stores where we live and they had lots of plants in, veg plant packs for £1.99 I think - mainly cabbages. Also saw fruit bushes, loganberries, blackberries also £1.99 I think. I got a clematis from there 2 years ago, although small and weedy at first, it's much bigger and has several flower buds this year!
Today, I bought Million Bells from there and trailing fuschias 99p & 1.19 each.

I got water retaining crystals and push-in feed pellets from Poundland, also some drip and feed liquid bottles for tomatoes. They also do seed packets - I got 1 pack of salad that includes Gardeners Delight Toms, lettuce, spr onions, cress, radishes and cucumber.

Thomson & Morgan, the website, have half price on all seeds till 14th May - I know they're not a garden centre, as in your original question, but thought it might help
