I've got a bunch of new toms I needed to pot but what size pots do I need and how long should you keep them in there for? Some of the seedlings are a bit leggy, is it ok to plant them up to their neck?

Ok mine are in jiffy pellets so about 11cm pots ok? I'm also getting some more asda flower buckets, will these be ok for final pot size, I guess they are about 30cm.Follow my garden and chilli growing project... @impatientgrowerComment

you don't want to have lots of compost in the pot going spare.
it will go sour.

I use the rule of thumb.
Ie you should be able to get your thumb down the sides to push the compost in. Any more is too much.
