Am a newbie at all this so can someone please help. I'm trying to grow peppers I origianlly put them straight from little pots to big pots until i read some threads on here. Since then i have put into small pots. Neither of them are growing particularly well. One has started to get droopy leaves (one fell off last night). Have fed them both with organic feed, they are both in a shed by a big window (originally one was outside under a big polythene bag, where it was doing ok, but the leaves started to go a bit brown on the edges)What am i doing wrong? They do both have new growth on but are not really getting any bigger? From reading this i think i have confused the poor plants

when you had it outside in a bag, the sun probably scorched it, which was why the leaves turned a bit brown.
When you took the cover off it probably thought, omg!! it's freezing!! and sulked.
I've got some that are about 5 inches high in a 5 inch pot at the moment, they'll be potted on in a couple of weeks probably.
If you pot them into a suitable pot size pot for the plant size, then cover them with a bag, as you did originally, you can put them outside, but if you have strong sun, keep an eye on them.
It's still a bit cold to put them outside by themselves, and it's probably just as cold in the shed.

Mine are all either inside in the conservatory or outside in the cold greenhouse. The ones in the greenhouse are doing fine and are coping with colder night time temperatures but they were introduced outside slowly so didn't get shocked. I'd bring them back in for the nights for a while (doesn't matter too much where you put them as it's dark anyway) to look after them and perhaps ease off the watering a bit too.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
