Last year we moved into a new house and had an extension build. There was a large(ish), about 2m tall, Mahonia bush which was being dug out by the JCB. It has a big root ball of earth on it so we asked if it could be translpanted for us. This was done - in October and we wateres it in well.
Over the winter it seemed to be OK but the leaves began to go brown in March and nothing has happened to bring it into leaf this year. There are 1 or 2 small shoots but the main bush looks as though it has died.
Any advice about saving it would be very useful. Thanks.
