Hi, just thought any one eager to grow somthing at this time of year might to know that tesco is selling salade plants at the mo`. Not sure what they are but all different colours and shape leaves???? I don`t do salad, can you tell?
Are these meant to be for growing on????? or are they the live salad things they do where you have it on your window ledge and can eat it pretty much straight away?
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Water Cress is quite fun and easy to grow too. I bought a bag of it from a super market, placed it in some pots and then in some water and now my mini pond is over-whelmed.
It is also so much cheaper than buying the bags in the summer.
