Well I have potted mine on now. I have only moved up enough to get a finger round but hopefully the new compost should help. Thanks again for the help.

Mine stopped for a bit too, but have recently picked up after I gave them a feed. Some have started to produce buds, not in flower yet but should probably pot on soon. Seen some in the shops that are nowhere near flowering so I wouldn't worry, they should get going soon - hopefully. Although a friend who lives nearby has already got some fruits forming - so annoying.

I am still very new to growing anything but i have seen that there is a vast difference in the growing speeds dependant on the variety and the growing conditions.

I bought 1 Apache and 1 orange Habanero from our local Garden Centre 5 weeks ago, they were both virtually the same size, both have had the same conditions (they sit almost side by side in the greenhouse) but the Apache has 30ish flowerbuds frowing with a few just starting to open while the Habanero has onlt just thrown out its first 4 buds. The Apache is also double the overall size of the Habanero which makes me smile considering the Apache is a dwarf variety.

I also sowed seeds from a few types at the end of April, of the 4 types i have seen that the Cayenne and Thai Reds are growing very quickly now, side shoots starting to form, the Aji Limons are just behind while the Bhut Jolokias are a lot smaller but still growing steadily. None of my sowed from seed plants are anywhere near flowering yet though but i have faith they will get there and give me a decent crop.

These have also given me another comparison growing conditions, the ones i have under a light are already far more advanced than the ones i placed in the greenhouse (sown from seed ones split into two batches at 3 weeks from germinating), maybe indoors helps more by given a slightly more consistant heat range and obvioulsy with the light i can give a far more consistant light source.

            I have 3 of each..

            Apache
            Scotch Bonnet
            Jalapino
            Fuego

I also have my Jalapino from last year. This one is already fruiting well

I have managed to eradicate the greenfly on them. Man they love chilli!
