  • Withdrawal symptoms

Hi All, we had a thread going a while ago about how many packets of seeds we were hoarding and how addictive the buying of them can be. A young woman at work asked me if I had any spare plants for her children's school who have just started growing things. I happily gave her peppers, tomatoes, courgettes and strawberries and then I looked in my seed box and managed to donate many packets of seeds. I only wanted to share with you that I found it really hard to give away the seeds, even though I know I still have too many packets in the box!!

Aah, don't give away the whole packets then!!!

I have some of those little envelopes and donate half the packet - thus making more space for seeds in the box and still having the range.

What a good idea Zazen, wish I'd thought of that! Never mind, it's an excuse to restock!

i agree. Why should you give away your babies. i went to our stationers and bought some wages envelopes. They are not very big, brown paper, cheap, and have lines printed on which are useful for writing your own info. on.

I knew someone out there would understand. Thanks Ann, I'll do that next time.
