I'm just coming to the end of my first year of allotmenteering. Some good some mixed & some bloody terrible results, but I'm still enjoying myself.Ineed to know what to do with my swedes should I leave them in the ground or lift & store? & if so how best to store them Thanks

Thanks for the replies, however after stopping off to pull one of my swedes on the way home this afternoon I see some little b####r has got there before me & pulled up half my swedes 2 raspberry& a blackcurrant bush .I feel like crying I wouldn't have minded so much if they had taken them to eat but they've just scattered them over the rest of my and next doors plot .So my question now is what should I do with all the ones that have been pulled up ? And when are they bringing back the stocks for petty crime I've got some lovely rotten veg etc in my compost!! I'm sure that would make me feel better.
