Hi all...maybe someone can help me???
I was growing a pumpkin...and for that matter, a courgette...both in growbags (1/2 a growbag upright each- if that makes sense) and they began to get decidedly out of control. So I opted to move them!!! I have put the pumpkin in a meter squared raised bed on its own and the courgette in a large trug...
The problem is, they both didn't seem to take the move brilliantly. I ended up having to cut the longest tendril/stem of the pumpkin even though it was producing good flowers because it snapped
The courgette faired a little better, had produced its first courgette which I harvested before repotting.
Are they now doomed because of my lack of action sooner?? Will they recover? Can I help them along?? It's my own fault I know but I want a huge pumpkin hence the move and that now looks highly unlikely
Thanks for any advice, even though I will tentatively read it for fear of impending doom
